We Made It Down In The Skoolie Again!
That’s funny ! I have the same thing going on and I keep putting it off.
Ours got pretty bad! The hair dryer was key 🔑 in getting it fixed quick
It is very handy, only a couple miles off I 75.
Yes 👍🏻
Thanks for showing this guys. God Bless.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
This Campground is much improved over 35 yrs agi0 when we used to go there. We stayed there on the way to the mts. the last 2 summers, Nice campground. We were in 83 The hosts are nice and the ladies in the office are just the friendilest you could ever get. They even call you on the day you are coming. Amazing Georgia kindness. !!!!!
What a cute little town. Thanks for sharing ❤
That was a good tour with two great guides! We have done some camping with kids and grands at High Falls back in the day. Best in cool weather!
Thanks and yes I imagine much better in cooler weather lol 😂
I don't know about everywhere, but when we were hosting in Florida the 50amp boxes had a duck engraved on them. Made it easier to spot...lol
I don’t think I saw that, but the 30amp had yellow and 50 amp said 50 amp.
Haven't been there in years! Have fun
Thank you ❤
Looks like a grand time with the grands! Love and blessings!
It was and we are tired! lol 😂
McDonough is really cute.
Our old stompin' grounds. I miss Queen Bee coffee! Love and blessings!
Where are yall? That's pretty
McDonough 💗
Enjoy your break. Love y'all!
Love yall too 💗💗💗 You won’t believe how much Lizzy and Elijah have grown. We will have them on the vlog here in a week or so 🏕️💗
Absolutely love it ❤ love you guys too
Thank you 🥰💗
@@ParsonRoad You're absolutely welcome 🥰💖
Safe travels!
Thank you!
Now I would never have noticed but you have now made me notice. LoL
I know nothing about mechanical stuff but I've enjoyed watching y'all work on schoolie and she looks great to me. A huge part of living is learning. We would all change some things if we could have a do over. I'm so thankful for the grace of God through it all! Love y'all!
You are so right! We have a video coming about the things we are happy with so stay tuned!
Love yall 💗💗💗
Well folks, I had once thought I would have liked to have purchased a large long dog nosed bus. The problem though with them is not having good turning radius as opposed to the flat nose. However if you had the largest longest bus as a dog nose, you would have had a much roomier living area. In my case I don't have any problems inside the bus because it is just me in it. I too think about the ECM and a brand new one costs over $1000. Well, I will just make the best with what I have as a slow bus. What you can do to get a faster moving bus would be to get a different trasmission. Also have the governor changed. Maybe you can sell your bus and get what you really need now after seeing what you have now.
Unless the Lord says to, we don’t see ourselves buying and building another bus lol 😅 This one was ALOT of work and expense. We have another video coming about what we are happy with as far as the build goes so stay tuned!
I love the singing at the end. You have a very nice voice and it was special seeing your son singing with you. 🤗💝💝💝🤗
Thank you! We are always happy when he can sing with us! 💗💗💗
Sweet voices
This is one of my favorite songs she's singing. I always wanted a mate who is musically inclined. Beautiful couple!
Thank you!
Lucky fella
Lovely ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
When you were considering electrical installation I missed it. However I will tell you I will be installing my electric wiring in the existing panel where the coach lights and public address speakers are. I will install receptable's also in the panel. I will be using the panel lights but removing the incadesant bulbs and replacing them with retrofit LEDS. My electrical power will be coming in on the front of the bus where my generator is. I will have a long power cord for shore hookup. On the back bumper of my bus will be a mechanism for using a vertical axis wind turbine generator to keep my lead acid batteries topped off when I am in areas of the country where wind is often briskly blowing, especially out West. I won't be using solar, too much upkeep, my opinion of course.
That sounds like a great plan. We do regret not putting power on the back of the bus where the generator is. That is a smart move. We will have to do some back tracking when we get ready to get our batteries up and running.
Johnny and Jewels, I may have commented previously on water disposal. Here recently I looked under my bus to see how my two 30 gallon holding tanks were goi g to fit under the floor. I found that they would fit perfectly. I like the idea of the two tanks being installed in a tandem fashion. This way the grey water tank can be used to flush out the black water tank and it can be drained independently from the black water tank. I can't think of a better way to dispose used water when needed at a waste water station. When you are in a park that has a waste hook up, you can drain your tanks and any water used can be sent right through your holding tanks. My guess is that one day I think you guys will get tired of a compost toilet. To me it is primative.
You have a great plan! We have been fine with the compost so far. It hasn’t been a hassle and we can go about a week or week and a half, maybe two on one bag.
So sweet ❤
You are so kind
🇦🇿🤗👍
Notice ya’ll don’t use a tow dolly or anything so you can ride together. What I use instead of a tow kit which is way more expensive than the dolly
Yes we would love to ride together! That is our biggest question
I'm keeping my floor as is. It appears to be real solid. It will last me for the time remaining in my life. The windows must have been left open and let rain in often causing your floor to be in bad shape. Under my bus the undercoating looks real good so I think the floor is sound for tĥ most part.
Ours looked real good and solid until we started uncovering it. We had people tell us we should not even worry about the floor and cover over it, but we are glad we decided to uncover it.
Metal delete's ? They will be heat absorbers in the Summer. I will be using a high grade of plywood and weatherproof paint coating for outside surface.
Can’t wait to see how yours turns out 👍🏻☺️
Ok, thanks for the reply.
I saved only one seat which was by the side exit door. I use it outside. I recycled the metal seats but I saved the vinyl seat covers. I will use a number of them for privacy covers over the windows using magnets to hold them in place.
That’s a great idea for the seat covers!
Beautiful campground. Another campground for me to visit in Usetobe. Usetobe is the name of my bus. May God bless you in your travels and singsperations.
Love the name!
You need a better mic.
Yep you’re right.
Glad you are safe. Thank you to the Good Samaritan. May the Lord bless you.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
I am sorry to see you broken down, but glad that everything worked out well. God is truly awesome! 🙏🙏🙏
Yes He truly is! Thank you!
Too Fast!!!
It looks a lot faster than it actually is lol. The bus is pretty slow. I thought the same riding but we were well below speed limit. 😅🚎
@@ParsonRoad Lol, thank you! On the video it looks real fast. Your bus is really cool . I hope you enjoy it and lots of adventures and fun!!! Take care!
Enjoyed the video!
Thank you!
Camp host helper here...come visit Blue Angel RV Park 🙏
Okay, where are you located?
Sorry about your car troubles but glad you're ok and made it home. ❤️🙌✝️
🙌🏻
Wouldn’t say those 50 amp are deluxe. Sounds like that park is way behind the times. About all CG have 30or 50 amp at most sites. Looks limited on 50amp. My motorhome has to have 50 so not a very good place.
I am thinking they are attempting to upgrade more sites.
Life can be tough at times but God is always at our side looking out for us. Thank God it was not worse. Do you need some support for the repair ? God is so good even when things look bleak. Let me know if I can help some way.
Yes you are so right He is faithful! 🙌🏻 we are thankful because it could’ve been worse… if you feel led to support Parson Road here are the ways you can do it. God supplies our every need. You said you were covered for 15 miles and had to take it 14 miles. PTL
Yes! 🙌🏻 He is good
Hope you had a happy Mother's Day, Julie. Love and blessings to you both.
I did… spent it with a couple good friends in TN. Love y’all
How about orange and blue? A Gator never stays down too long!! God bless!
I love it! My daughter n law would agree!!! She is from Plant City Fl
The only thing wrong with that guy is his orange shirt...lol
😅
Glad y'all came through the storms unscathed! It got pretty rough here on Wednesday night. Praise God for our Shelter under the wing of the Most High! Looking forward to hearing your new recording. Love and blessings!
I'm surprised that thwre are no comments. I'm wondering Johnny how the bus is performing over the mountain roads ? The bus camper still looks so great inside and out. How it works for you, it tells me how mine will be. I have not done any construction inside as yet. I am in the cleaning faze before painting. Inside. Also I have been looking into the bus wiring problems and how I will run AC wiring over the windows. I talked to my son today discussing how we get the holding tanks under the bus properly and accurately mounted. I am getting anxious to get this vehicle ready for the road. I really enjoy your videos. Alvis
There’s always hope ❤
Tennessee where I want to be….one day. Ty for your campground reviews and wonderful singing.
You are so welcome and thank you for watching!
Nice campground! Love and blessings to y'all.😊
We love y’all too
